About art works and philosophy
My Ceramic and terracotta sculpture display a complex of influence from my Rich and varied life. My
works reflect my pacific inheritance with bold colors, stylized humanity and of a burlesque art era. I feel
constantly inspired by the works of S.M Sultan, Alak Roy & Ramkingkor Base. While I create, my creativity is also inspired by the organic philosopher Fakir Lalon, Jalaluddin Rumi and also by any book, a poem or a phrase or photograph, even a single gesture I come across. I explore playfully the anatomical before teasing out the dynamic linguistic relationship between bodies which are always in an ever so subtle motion. This allows for fearless and evocative expressiveness in my composition all the time.

1.The first Ceramic dome in Bangladesh was built at during four days and fired for 24 hours, during a
Synaptic and Ceramic Houses workshop at HBRI. The process of ‘research and In search’ had many
mid-course corrections and great innovations. Jointly Conducted with Architect Iliona Khalili .
2. Workshop titled …’Appreciation on Art and Aesthetics’ for the graduate level students of the Dept. of
Television , Film and Photography at the University of Dhaka, Conducted from April 9 – April 13 ,
2017. The workshop covered wide range of topics from art history ( pre-history to postmodern art),
philosophy of aesthetics, elements of art and works of master artists and techniques of art criticism
